Perlindungan Hukum Terhadap Korban Kekerasan Di Lingkungan Perguruan Tinggi

Abstract

Indonesia is obkiged to improve the life of nation through the establihsment of higher education institutions. Universities in Indonesia in organizing higher education provide protection from violence in the university environment which was previously regulated in Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Number 30 of 2021 concerning The Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence in the University Environment which was then replaced by the Regulation of The Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Number 55 of 2024 concerning the Prevention and Handling of Violence in the University Environment. Therefore, the author is interested researching legal protection for victims of violence in higher education based on the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Number 55 of 2024 concerning the Prevention and Handling of Violence in Higher Education Environments.The research method used is normative legal research with an anlytical approach, namely analyzing laws and regulations on the prevention and handling of violence in the university environmnet books, and journals.The  results are that victims of violence can report to universities and task forces and the case handling mechanism is regulated, namely reporting, report follow-up, examination, preparation of conclusions and recommendations, follow-up to conclusions and recommendations.
